How Long Does It Take To Grow A Kidney Bean

Final preparations for the Gore-Tex Transalpine-Run 2010 Hamburg Marathon

is after my first exit from a competition in OstseeMan now the second major highlight of this year on the program. I hope the rest after the OstseeMan and then but good training results in the targeted TransAlp - Preparation will bring us to the finish.
not be long and we are now actually at the starting line of one of the toughest running race, you can imagine is actually ...
8 days, 305 km, 13,500 vertical feet on the ascent - numbers that impress me now about to start
even more than in the whole preparation. The route will lead through three countries:

Even if the preparation is not really good
ran us - Jan Peter (JP) and I - great hope, after eight days, the coveted Finishershirt in Sesto in Italy to be able to roam.

to "Not" we go hiking:)
I will - as in the Hawaii Ironman last year - about this blog try to keep you a little time insight into the events on the ground in the Alps up to date.

For your general know what it is at all turns, here's the link to the contest page:

There are daily the results of each stage is set.
Our team number is: 178
Team Name: Cliff Loeper:)

A total of 300 teams will go for 2 people, at the start - 600 Crazy So who dare
about these murderous distance. Each stage ends in a different place, will either stayed in a camp, or - like us - in pensions. We hope to go by just a little more rested in the respective launches. In general, clock starts at 7 am - exception is only the first stage of competition is on Saturday: Go until 11 clock going. Getting up early is therefore called for. However, we hope that we will also not too late to host them, so we get there our pre-booked massages and then have enough regeneration phase for the next day.
The regeneration ability will play an enormously important role - in addition to a strong will:) But I think we as a team will manage this perfectly.
Even if we had to go in preparing forced his own way, I'm sure with JP to have a partner on the side, with which one can overcome these hardships.
It is not only for safety run in the team - these distances over such a long period of time need constant motivation and support. We will get to know us very well .... I'm really looking forward to this challenge and the many wonderful shared experiences.

Tonight we will fly from Hamburg to Salzburg, then to the hotel in Ruhpolding belong there and our accommodation for two nights. Tomorrow we will be the accreditation and everything aussenrum behind us. Maybe we continue driving with ner NEN mountain cable car to have to breathe some mountain air:) I wish you read

enjoy the blog. Please forgive if I hire a report every day - we do not know exactly how we get on the Internet ...
