Hello dear ones at home,
we have made it - 46km in the high alpine terrain! We are super happy ...
It was a tough fight - especially for me. I was kind of a bad day. We started already at 7 clock in the morning - this time we were in group "B" - then we had worked our way on Sunday:) fell
it immediately to the mountain - we are flown to the ground. Sorry, did not already end of the first increase - in the end we are the "Streif" - run race - - the downhill slope of Hahnenkamp high though. Incredibly steep! Even here, I realized that I was not so fit .. JP has been properly steam and pulled me so.
After we had climbed the first mountain, we went downhill even back down. As we went down well on track. After 24 km (3:09 h) then came the second board and then we went into the second mountain. The total madness! We had to climb up the steepest slopes, trudging through Creek, snowfields, cross deserts to wade through mud and so on - and then another race ... After a endless member (ridge) we went at some point down the mountains. Here we were overtaken by so few teams.
There is increasing evidence showing that the "running downhill" is a crucial component. We were able to do this
not practice, as is actually required here. However, we are still doing well with our assumptions - that we must also hold times - up to now anyway:) The whole
cruelty was then 6:39 to end - as long as I am never run at a time ...
for JP is the course NEN brainer:) About the position we are happy - we were able to confirm the results of recent days. This evening we went
to the Pasta Party back up the hill - by train:) Super inclusive outlook.
