Despite the good weather report, it was raining at the start of the first stage feinstens
our crossing of the Alps.
The first few miles we went pretty fast and a little too high speed:) to the mountains.
After about 12 km then came the first real increase. Wonderful Trail under a waterfall
through - although we always had water from above, a great experience. Then it was
already soggy - the rain of recent days has left its mark - as well as the many runners in front of us ....
We talked but surprisingly good - especially on the climbs but we could make some good pitches. Let's see whether we coming to the Days still succeed.
The track was always on slopes - but unfortunately the top:) No matter - at some point we had reached the highest point and then we went down it properly.
It was scary slippery - but with poles, we were able to hold well. Others were there somewhat risk heater. We came down injury-free. The next two kilometers were then continued as on eggs - the first leg had to get used to it.
made during the last rest was a breeze - short crisp hills that would not end in any way. But still, it was our territory - we have made good many places.
Overall a really good start - and Rain is now time to do so. Finally, we have 4:12 for 36 km with 1220 meters of well-used - we are super happy and optimistic for the morgiegen day. He should then be sunny again. It
expect us good 33km, loaded with two really nice increases - a total of 1810 meters. We are excited!!
